Nancy Dawn joined 星空体育app下载 Valuation & Advisory in 2018 as an Executive Vice President with the Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure team. Dawn brings to her position 25+ years of real estate appraisal experience, including 25 years specializing in hospitality properties primarily in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Dawn has completed assignments for a broad range of hospitality properties, including small independent hotels; large chain-affiliated hotels; upscale resorts; publicly and privately-owned conference and convention centers; mixed-use projects combining hotel, commercial and condominium space; wellness resorts & spas; and ski market resorts. Her valuation & consulting experience covers all stages of construction, including proposed projects, renovations, properties under construction, and existing properties. Dawn also has specialized experience with regards to wellness resorts, including consulting, valuation, and litigation services.
A significant portion of Dawn鈥檚 practice is concentrated in Hawaii, where she completes multiple assignments each year and has worked on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai for 10+ years. She has completed valuations for numerous complex resorts, with a variety of restaurants, spa, golf, and recreational amenity revenue streams.
Additionally, Dawn has completed assignments for ski resort market properties including hotels/resorts located in Alta, Aspen, Big Sky, Jackson Hole, Park City/Deer Valley, Tahoe, Vail, and other smaller ski market areas. Due to her extensive experience in Hawaii and in ski area markets, Dawn is very familiar with ground leases and franchise-managed properties.
Prior to 星空体育app下载, Dawn served as an Executive Director at Cushman & Wakefield of Washington, Inc., where she was a member of the Hospitality & Gaming and Sports & Entertainment specialty practices. Before that, Dawn worked as a hospitality appraiser and investment advisor with Jinneman, Kennedy, & Mohn, P.S., and earlier in her career, Dawn worked as a staff appraiser for Terra Property Analytics and Shorett & Riely. She entered the commercial real estate appraisal industry in 1993 and has focused on hospitality properties since 1995.
