Luis (Lou) Alvarado is �ǿ�����app����’s Chief Operating Officer, responsible for optimizing the Company’s global operations and working with �ǿ�����app����’s Executive Committee to further drive efficiency, productivity and sustainable expansion of business lines, including Investor and Occupier Solutions and Management Services.

Previously, Alvarado served as �ǿ�����app����’s Chief Revenue Officer and East Region Market Leader for seven years, overseeing front office operations including all business lines and client facing IT, driving growth throughout the East Coast and managing all facets of operations and performance for the region.

Alvarado joined �ǿ�����app���� in 2015 from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was President of the company’s East Region and a member of its Global Management Committee. There, he led development efforts across New England, Philadelphia, and the Mid-Atlantic, overseeing regional operations and strategy.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Alvarado was a founding partner of Insight Partners, where he led the award-winning redevelopment of Cross Point, a 1.2 million-square-foot vacant property in Lowell, Massachusetts. Earlier, he spent a decade at The Travelers Insurance Company, managing over 6 million square feet of commercial assets and structuring major joint ventures, including Boston’s 125 High Street.

Education
Alvarado is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. A native of Santiago, Chile, he speaks Spanish fluently.
